TASK 7

1. First: Create a Hypothesis: Predicting What you think will happen?
(Remember to use an "if......then.......statement")

Answer: i thought the heat would stay in the cup with the foil and it did.

2. Please Discuss your Observations of What happened as time Elapsed:
*What did you see happen as time passed?

Answer:as time past the heat in both cup decresed but the one with foil stayed at 80 degrees which is still heat. the second cup did not keep any heat it dropped as soon as time passed

3. Conclude whether Aluminum Foil a good Heat Insulator? Explain your Answer: (Why or Why Not?) *Support With Specific Details

Answer:aluminum foil is a good heat insulator cause when ever you wrap food that has just been cooked the heat stays trapped in the foil.

4. Read one of your classmate's Blog on this assignment and Create a BLOG POST COMMENT.

NOTES ON HEAT TRAVEL

heat can be transferred from place to place by three methods; CONDUCTION-in solids,CONVECTION-of liquids(liquids and gases), and RADIATION- through anything that will allow radiation to pass. The method used to transfer heat is usually the one that is the most efficient. If there is a temperature difference in a system, heat will always move from higher to lower temperatures.
EXAMPLE: an example of heat conduction would be hot coffee in a glass mug sitting next to another cup of hot coffee, but in a styrafoam cup. The glass cup gets heated and is hot when you try and pick it up as well as if it were in a metal mug. The styrafoam cup has no effect at all, it is because of the type of cup it is.
